The Replacement Vapor Pad number GA-23 Evaporator pad for GeneralAire power humidifiers models 950, 950X, 1099LHS
The pad is made of aluminum, and coated with a nontoxic material that evenly distributes water throughout the pad. Over the course of the heating season, minerals build up on the pad, reducing its efficiency. Because of the special coating, the pad is not cleanable, and must be replaced a minimum of once per season.
